Role in the project: EAFF will be the co-leader of WP6, facilitating the communication, information exchange and other activities with the local population. and will significantly contribute to the assessment of replication potential of BIO4AFRICA business models.

The Eastern Africa Farmers’ Federation, EAFF, is a regional democratic non-governmental organisation whose membership consists of national farmer organisations, apex cooperative associations, apex commodity associations and apex women farmer organisations in Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda. EAFF’s vision is to have a prosperous and cohesive farming community in Eastern Africa, and provides lobbying and advocacy, trade facilitation, information management, and active engagement of women and youth in agriculture, as well as environmental issues.
