Role in the project: RAGT will provide the pelletising technology to be included in BIO4AFRICA small-scale bio-based solutions, and will co-lead with CIRAD activities for the adaptation and optimisation of densification technologies.

RAGT Energie was founded in 2008 to sell engineering services to companies wishing to make pelletising plants for high-quality pellets from agricultural by-products. One of three divisions of the parent company RAGT, which has celebrated its centenary in 2019, RAGT Energie provides specialist consultancy services within biomass heating systems, solid biofuels’ standardisation and research.
