This document details the BIO4Africa pilot trials in Uganda, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, and Senegal, including trial timelines, parameters to be examined, and available results from trials initiated during the interim reporting period (M25-34).

Three main categories of product are being piloted through a total of 22 pilot trials: animal feed and whey from green biorefinery technology, biochar products from carbonisation technology, i.e. slow pyrolysis and hydrothermal carbonisation (HTC), and pellets and briquettes from densification technologies. 

Nine pilot trials were initiated during the interim reporting period.

Information about some trials has been redacted pending publication in international journals.
